Yesterday we went grocery shopping and, among other things, got a box of Shredded Wheat cereal. I just recently rearranged the cupboards, but Kevin put the new box of cereal in the cupboard alongside the nearly empty old box of cereal. I saw the two boxes in the the cupboard yesterday...I swear I did.
This morning we went to pour a bowl of cereal finishing the old box of cereal first then reaching for the new box. GASP! It's not there!!! I have searched everywhere for it, all the cupboards, the refrigerator, bathrooms...everywhere - I can't find it. Strange.... Is there some hobbit in the spare room, crouched in the corner munching on Shredded Wheat? Unlikely - I already checked the spare room.
In other news - we finally booked our hotel room for Barcelona at the end of April and also booked our hotel for London in May when Andrea, Tim & Olivia visit :)
Tomorrow we plan to travel to Carlisle to see some sights - stay tuned for pics.

Update on some words...
Realizing that no one probably goes back to the first couple blogs where I started this list I figured I would continue with it here. Unfortunately, whenever I go to make this list I can't think of half the words I wanted write... or is it because sentences like "there was a queue at the till and all that I had in my trolly were nappies & biscuits" are all sounding a bit normal now??
- Lorry - Truck (18 wheeler)
- Row - argument/fight
- Coach - Bus
- Queue - Line
- Bin - Trash Can
- Gutted - Sad, upset
- Snog - make out
- Nappies - Diapers
- Crisps - Potato Chips
- Chips - Fries
- Biscuits - Cookies
Annnnd as an added bonus a couple of you luckies will be receiving in the mail not only the above featured crisps but a few other fantastic flavors! Aren't you excited!?!!
YAY!
2 hr train ride, overseas flight, 5hr drive, Dan's bachelor party, 4hr drive, visit with mom and Dylan, overseas flight, 2 hr train ride - back in my arms :)
Although he says his few days away seemed like a blur, mine just dragged on. I won't get into detail with my lameness. But Kevin had a good time - for Dan's bachelor party they went on a 5 hr ATV trip in WV and then stayed the night in a huge cabin. Then Sunday evening and Monday afternoon he spent with his mom & mister. The above pictures are of Kevin and the guys with their ATV's and of course a picture mister during Kevin's visit. We both miss having him around....lots.

Grillin Time
When the weather gets nice it's time for the grill!! yesssss! Purchased this baby at the store this morning, spent a mere 15 mins assembling it and it's ready for the steaks and veggies I picked out. It's been a gorgeous week, weather wise - it's amazing what a little sunshine can do for the soul :) St. Patty's day was a little of a let down - apparently it's not all that big a deal over here ...no green wearing, no green beer, no carbombs at the bars...kinda a ghost town. But as always we made the best of our evening & went out to dinner with friends and then out.
Kevin leaves tomorrow at 5:30am to head to VA & WVA for a bachelor party :( And then it will be lowly ole' me to fend for myself until Tuesday. I have nail polish, chick flicks and maybe a lil shopping in store....that should last me until Tuesday right?

''Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air''
Yesterday was gorgeous! A crisp sunshiney day - loved it. I went for a long run/walk along the coast and then parked the car on the beach, finished my book and let the sunshine pull out a couple freckles. Then I packed a bag of shrimp, cheese & crackers & wine so that when Kevin got home we could go watch the sunset. We took a bajillion pictures because it was such an awesome sunset but this is the one I decided on. (there is someone horseback riding through the sunset)

Ireland
Ireland kicked our butts! We had an awesome time & we packed in as much drinking and sightseeing as possible. After the shortest flight ever over there we checked into our hotel and freshened up for dinner in the city center. We ate dinner at Quays & proceeded to the Arlington hotel for some more drinks and live Irish dancing and music! And that's when we felt like we were in Ireland! Next morning we were out of the hotel by 9 and didn't get back till after midnight and somewhere in the middle we went to Dublin Castle, a few Churches, the Guinness Brewery, Jameson Distillery & managed to drink a bottle of Jameson by ourselves. When in Rome Kevin kept saying. Seemed like a good idea at the time but the headache the next day would argue with that. Brings us to Sunday...not feeling 100% and feeling as if we had seen all that Dublin city had to offer we booked a bus tour of the north coast. The weather was constantly changing but it only rained while we were sleeping and on on our way back from the bus tour. Stayed sunny and gorgeous for the rest - I can't even fathom what Dublin would be like on St. Patty's day....
as always more pics in our album

All good things must come to an end
Rut Roooow: Guess which of Kevin's sweaters Erin washed :/ I've washed it before, back in CT ....not sure what happened this time. It was one of my favorites on him - notsomuch anymore.
Rugby!
Kevin & I went to our first live rugby match last night. There is a local team that plays in town - a few guys at work told Kevin about it and we decided to see what it was all about. We had a dinner (chicken & beans!) and a couple drinks then set out on foot towards the stadium. A whopping £26 got us admission into the match and we made sure to stand a bit away from the crowds so we could talk it through without anyone giving us the eye. It didn't take long to get the hang of what exactly goes on out there - and it boils down to being very similar to american football sans all the pads and the stoppage. Actually, we quite enjoyed ourselves. Not sure if it warranted the £26 price tag but I imagine we will go to another.

''...after squeezing through a gap beside a gate and a cattle grid, turn left and follow a stony path steeply uphill to a stone shelter...''
We had to follow directions like that for the entirety of the 6mile hike we tackled this Sunday. This one took us through Arnside, up Arnside Knott and around the edge of Morecambe Bay. For starters, we grabbed a pint to wait out the rain that had started as soon as we parked. Nothing like a good beer to power you through a big hike. The sun was peaking out by the time we finished and we started out. Just like all the other hikes we've taken it didn't disappoint with the views along the way. More photos in our album! Enjoy!
